Sterling Silver Sheet: 925 Alloy Cast and Rolled
Sterling is 92.5 % silver and 7.5 % copper: the copper makes soft fine silver hard enough to wear. Melt the two together, pour an ingot, and roll it down to sheet, annealing it whenever it stiffens: heat to a dull red and quench in water.
