Camphor Oil: Camphor-Laurel Chips Steam-Distilled and Filtered

The wood and leaves of the camphor laurel are steam distilled for their oils. Boil chips of the wood with water in a still, condense the steam, and filter the camphor crystals out of the oil that comes over. The remaining wood oil is camphor oil. The picture: our diagram, still, condenser and receiver.
