Filtered Latex: Field Latex Collected Before It Sets and Sieved
Field latex sets in the cups if left too long, so it is gathered while still liquid and sieved on its way into a closed container, leaving bark bits and lumps behind.

Collect
Go round the tapped trees around midday and empty each cup before the latex sets.

Pour the latex through a fine sieve into a clean bucket and close the lid. Use it the same day.
