Dragon's Blood Resin Broken from Unripe Rattan Fruit

The unripe fruit of the dragon's blood rattan (Calamus draco) is encased in a layer of red resin. Break it off, gather it, and roll it into solid balls, or grind it to a red powder. The picture: dragon's blood, powdered and in lumps (Andy Dingley, CC BY-SA 3.0).
