Glass Bottles Fitted with Cork Stoppers

Cork makes a good stopper because it is elastic and nearly watertight: it squeezes as it goes into the neck and springs back to seal. Fit each clean bottle with a cork a little wider than its neck, tapered to start. The picture: a clear glass bottle closed with a cork stopper.
