Strontium Carbonate: Powdered Celestine Boiled with Soda Solution (Thorpe 1912)

Celestine, the natural strontium sulphate, boiled with a solution of sodium carbonate turns into strontium carbonate, while the sulphate goes into the solution. Grind celestine to a powder.
