Walnut Oil: Kernels Cold-Pressed, Settled and Filtered
Walnut oil is pressed from walnut kernels. It is a drying oil: in air it hardens into a strong, flexible film, and its short drying time and lack of yellow tint suit oil paint. Crack the nuts, press the kernels cold, let the oil settle and filter it.
