Dragon's Blood Resin Broken from Unripe Rattan Fruit
The unripe fruit of the dragon's blood rattan (Calamus draco) is encased in a layer of red resin. Break it off, gather it, and roll it into solid balls, or grind it to a red powder.

Break off the resin
Working over a cloth, break the red resin layer off each unripe fruit and let it fall on the cloth. Put the bare fruit aside in the basket.
