Raw sienna earth — a naturally occurring iron oxide-hydroxide pigment (goethite-rich) with a warm yellowish-brown colour. Named after Siena, Italy. When calcined (burnt sienna), it darkens to a rich reddish-brown. One of the most useful and stable earth pigments.
