Twine made from abaca (Manila hemp, Musa textilis) fibre — exceptionally strong and resistant to saltwater degradation. Used for tying bundles, binding, and general-purpose cordage. Abaca is the strongest of the natural fibres, traditionally used for ship rigging and marine rope.
