Bearing Steel Tube (52100): Drilled and Bored from Bar on the Lathe
Bearing races are turned from 52100 tube. Factory tube is made seamless; in a workshop it can be drilled and bored from annealed 52100 bar on the lathe, which is our method here. Cut it soft: it is hardened only after the races are turned.
