Rolling Pin Turned from Beech, with Tapered Ends
A rod rolling pin is a plain wooden rod, tapered at the ends so the hands can steer it; a roller pin has handles through a thicker roller. Turn a rod pin from a straight beech blank on the pole lathe, check it straight, and smooth it.
