Jump Wires for a Solderless Breadboard
Jump wires connect the points of a solderless breadboard. Ready-made sets exist, some with small plugs on the ends, but plain jump wires are easy to make. Use 22 AWG (0.33 mm²) solid, tin-plated copper wire and strip 3/16 to 5/16 inch (about 5–8 mm) of insulation from each end: shorter ends may not reach the board's spring clips properly.
