Casein Powder from Soured Skim Milk

Casein is the milk protein of early plastics such as Galalith, of casein glue and of casein paint. Skim the milk, let it sour until the casein drops out as curd, wash and press the curd, then dry it and grind it to powder. The picture: our diagram, skimmed milk, soured curd, dry powder.
