Drying Stickers Ripped from Dry Pine

Sawn timber is air-dried in a stack whose layers are kept apart by stickers, so air can flow evenly through the pile. Rip dry pine into square strips about 2 cm on a side, all the same thickness, and cut them a little longer than the stack is wide. The picture: our diagram of boards stacked on stickers.
