Drying Stickers Riven from a Seasoned Log

Stickers are the small dry strips laid between layers of stacked boards so air can flow through the pile as it dries. The first stack needs stickers before there are any boards, so rive them straight from a seasoned log with froe and mallet and plane them square. The picture: our diagram of a stickered stack.
