Gold Sheet: Fine Gold Cast Flat, Rolled and Annealed, Gee
Fine gold stretches further under the rolls than any other metal (Gee, The Goldsmith's Handbook). Cast it as a broad, thin bar, file the edges clean, and roll it, closing the rolls a little each pass. When it hardens, anneal it and roll on, down to 0.005 inch.
