Human Skull

A skull as a single-mesh 3D model — the domed cranium, the two orbits, the nasal cavity, and the upper and lower teeth in the maxilla and mandible. Supplied as one editable .blend: view it in 3D on the page, or slice it straight to G-code.

Instructions

1

What it is

A skull, showing the landmarks that define one: the domed cranium, the two orbits, the nasal aperture, and the teeth in the maxilla and the mandible. One single mesh, so it prints and slices cleanly.
2

The model in 3D

A single mesh of about 150,000 triangles, standing upright.

Print it

Print in white to match bone. White ABS sands well and can be acetone-vapour-smoothed to a bone-like finish, but it needs a heated bed and an enclosure — white PLA is easier without one. Scale to about 150 mm tall, 0.2 mm layers, 15 percent infill, supports under the orbits and the thin facial bone.
