History and limits

This basket is popular in Ang Thong, Suphan Buri, Sing Buri and Chai Nat; other names are krajat hu, takra hio, ka-teng and kra-taeng. Beware of wire ends and the knife. Source: Sirindhorn Anthropology Centre, Traditional Objects of Everyday Use database, "กระจาดหิ้ว", author วิบูลย์ ลี้สุวรรณ (Wiboon Leesuwan) (CC BY 4.0 licence). **Limits** The source gives no size, weave pattern or wire gauge; the photos show crossed sticks under the base that the text does not mention; there is no listing for rattan, so it is named in the text.
