Threaded Rod Cut with a Die

Threaded rod (studding) is a round bar threaded along its whole length, cut to whatever length a job needs and fitted with nuts. It is the die blueprint's bolt end carried on to the far end: the same die, the same oil, just longer. The rod must be slightly under the thread's nominal size.
