Tweezers: Bent from a Thin Brass Strip (Cassell's, 1900)

Fine tweezers from a single strip of thin sheet brass, bent double so the spring of the bend holds the tips apart. Cassell's gives them for handling dead insects by the thorax. Variable: strip 3/8 or 1/2 in wide, 6 or 8 in long. Source: Cassell's Cyclopaedia of Mechanics (1900), p. 72. Picture: drawn by Youblob from the text.
