Wooden Stringer Pallet Nailed from Pine

A pallet keeps stored goods off the ground: deck boards nailed across three or more parallel timbers, the stringers. Skids like it go back to ancient Egypt and Mesopotamia. Cut three pine stringers and a set of boards, and nail the boards across. The picture: a wooden pallet 1.2 m by 1.0 m by 13 cm, with a work glove for scale.
