The four-carbon cut of the gas from cracking gas oil, after most of its isobutylene has been taken out with sulphuric acid: a liquefied mixture of isobutane, normal butane, butene-1 and the butenes-2, with a little isobutylene and heavier polymer. The feed for separating normal butylenes from butanes. Extremely flammable.
