Important: Every User is a Vendor
By creating an account on Youblob, you automatically become capable of selling products and services. All vendor obligations apply to you.
All blueprints shared on Youblob are CC0 - permanently free for anyone to use, modify, and commercialize.
1. Platform Role and Limitations
Youblob operates solely as a technology platform that enables users to collaborate, create, buy, and sell products and ideas globally.
Youblob is NOT:
- A seller, reseller, or merchant of any products
- A party to transactions between users
- Responsible for product quality, delivery, or satisfaction
- An escrow service or payment guarantor
- Liable for any losses arising from transactions or collaborations
Youblob ONLY provides:
- Technology infrastructure for collaboration and commerce
- Payment processing services (without liability)
- Communication tools between users
- Basic dispute reporting mechanisms (without obligation to resolve)
2. User Responsibilities
Users are 100% responsible for:
- All products they create, list, and sell
- Accuracy of all listings and descriptions
- Legal compliance in their jurisdiction
- Export/import regulations and customs
- Tax obligations and reporting
- Product safety and regulatory compliance
- Intellectual property verification
- Customer service and fulfillment
- Dispute resolution with other users
CRITICAL: Youblob does NOT verify legal compliance, safety, or intellectual property status of ANY products or blueprints.
3. Prohibited Activities
Users may NOT:
- Sell illegal products or services
- Violate export controls or sanctions
- Infringe intellectual property rights
- Share others' proprietary information
- Engage in fraud or misrepresentation
- Harass or threaten other users
- Manipulate reviews or ratings
- Circumvent platform fees
- Use bots or automated systems without permission
- Violate any applicable laws
Violations result in immediate termination without refund.
4. Transaction Liability and Disclaimers
YOUBLOB HAS ZERO LIABILITY FOR:
- Product defects or quality issues
- Non-delivery or shipping problems
- Customs seizures or import restrictions
- Patent or IP infringement claims
- Personal injury from products
- Economic losses of any kind
- Data loss or security breaches by vendors
- Force majeure events
Users acknowledge that Youblob is merely a platform and all risks of transactions lie solely with the transacting parties.
5. Blockchain Transactions - Special Terms
CRITICAL BLOCKCHAIN WARNINGS:
- Irreversible: ALL blockchain transactions are PERMANENT
- No Refunds: Blockchain payments CANNOT be reversed
- Lost Funds: Sent to wrong address = permanently lost
- No Recovery: Youblob CANNOT recover blockchain assets
- User Risk: Users bear ALL blockchain risks
Youblob provides blockchain integration but has NO control over blockchain networks, smart contracts, or cryptocurrency protocols. Users must understand blockchain technology before using these features.
6. Blueprints and Intellectual Property
CC0 BLUEPRINT TERMS - PERMANENT AND IRREVOCABLE:
- ALL blueprints on Youblob are CC0 (Creative Commons Zero)
- By publishing, you waive ALL rights FOREVER
- Anyone can use, modify, sell your blueprints
- This is PERMANENT and CANNOT be undone
- You CANNOT later claim ownership
WARNING: Do NOT publish blueprints containing:
- Trade secrets you want to protect
- Proprietary information
- Others' intellectual property
- Patented designs (without rights)
Youblob does NOT verify IP rights. Users are 100% liable for all IP violations.
7. NFT and Blockchain Permanence
PERMANENT RECORD WARNING:
Content minted as NFTs or stored on blockchain/IPFS is PERMANENT and publicly accessible FOREVER. This includes all associated metadata, images, and information.
Youblob CANNOT delete, modify, or hide blockchain content - even with court orders.
Users must ensure content contains NO:
- Trade secrets they wish to keep private
- Personal or confidential information
- Content they may want to remove later
- Information that could become legally problematic
8. Platform Content and Services Disclaimer
COMPREHENSIVE PLATFORM DISCLAIMERS:
No Endorsement:
Youblob does NOT endorse, verify, or validate any blueprints, products, user claims, technical feasibility, legal compliance, or safety.
No Liability:
Youblob has NO liability for published blueprints, products created from blueprints, services offered by users, events organized through the platform, collaborations between users, or investment/business decisions based on platform content.
Innovation Conflicts:
As a global collaboration platform, similar ideas may exist independently. We cannot prevent parallel development, do not arbitrate originality claims, and bear no responsibility for such conflicts.
9. Platform Fees and Payments
- Youblob charges a 5% platform fee on all sales transactions
- Fees are automatically deducted before payouts
- Users are responsible for payment processor fees
- Payouts are subject to holding periods and fraud checks
- Youblob may withhold payments if violations are suspected
- All users can both buy and sell on the platform
10. Dispute Resolution
Between Users:
Users must resolve disputes directly with each other. Youblob may provide communication tools but is NOT obligated to mediate.
IP and Patent Disputes:
Users must handle ALL intellectual property disputes directly. Youblob will not participate in IP litigation. Users indemnify Youblob from all IP claims.
Platform Disputes:
Disputes between users and Youblob will be resolved through arbitration in Norway under Norwegian law. Each party bears their own costs.
Youblob does NOT guarantee resolution of any disputes.
11. Termination
- Either party may terminate with 30 days notice
- Youblob may terminate immediately for violations
- Upon termination, users must fulfill pending orders
- Platform fees remain due for completed transactions
- Termination does not relieve prior obligations
- NFTs and blockchain content remain permanent after termination
- Account termination does not affect blockchain records
12. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
- These terms are governed by Norwegian law
- Disputes are subject to Norwegian jurisdiction
- International users must comply with local laws
- In case of conflict, Norwegian law prevails
- Users consent to Norwegian jurisdiction for all disputes
