Sheet-Iron Flue Pipe, Rolled and Riveted
A flue carries the smoke and gases of a fire up and out; it works by the rise of the hot gas, so it needs a good draft. Roll iron sheet over a pole into a pipe, rivet the lap seam, and narrow one end so each section slides into the next.
The picture: our diagram, the flat sheet and two riveted pipe sections.
