Nickel Sheet by Electrowinning from Nickel Sulfate
Electrolytic nickel is won from a nickel salt solution: pass a direct current from an inert anode through nickel sulfate solution and the nickel plates out on the cathode. A flat stainless steel plate makes a reusable cathode; when the deposit is thick enough, strip it off as a sheet of nickel.
