Fine Sea Salt from Coarse Salt

Solar salt and sea salt from the pans come as coarse, often damp crystals. For baking, brines and the table they are dried and ground fine. Damp salt smears in the mortar and clumps in the jar, so it is dried first. Plain salt only: no anti-caking agent and no iodine, unlike most shop table salt.
