Compressed balls of camphor (C₁₀H₁₆O), a waxy aromatic compound extracted from camphor trees or synthesised from turpentine. Used as a moth repellent, mild preservative, and traditional medicine. Sublimates slowly at room temperature, filling enclosed spaces with vapour.
