Garden Fork: Four Forged Tines on an Ash D-Grip Handle

A garden fork has a square-shouldered head with usually four short, sturdy tines, flatter, thicker and closer together than a pitchfork's, on a short, stout wooden handle with a D- or T-grip; it loosens and turns soil like a spade. Forge four tines, weld them to a shoulder bar with a socket, and fit an ash D-grip handle. The picture: old digging forks with ash D-grip handles.
