Garden Hand Trowel: a Scoop Blade Forged from Bar, Dished, on a Hardwood Handle
The garden trowel is a small, one-handed spade: a pointed, scoop-shaped metal blade on a handle, for digging small holes, planting, weeding and potting. Forge a tang and a spread blade from one bar, dish the blade into a hollow, and fit a hardwood handle.
