Laminated Spruce Blank: Planed Spruce Boards Glued Grain-Parallel and Clamped

A laminated blank is several thin boards glued face to face with their grain running the same way: small pieces make one large member, and defects in one layer matter less. Saw and dry spruce boards, plane them smooth, glue them up and clamp them tight. The picture: our diagram, spruce layers glued and clamped.
