Lo Mai (Bamboo-Pole Push Wheel, Single Wheel) — a 1-3 Inch Hardwood Wheel in the Split, Wedged-Open End of a 1.5-2 m Bamboo Pole on a Through Axle, with a Cross Handle at Chest Height; Shouldered and Pushed at a Run

ล้อ (lo, wheel; also lo mai, lo kala) is a children's running toy, named by its material. The wooden wheel's pole rests on the player's shoulder and is pushed along at a run. There are two main kinds, the single wheel and the double wheel; this blueprint makes the single wheel. This blueprint makes a real lo mai to the sizes in the source.

History and limits

The double wheel is made the same way but with two wheels on one axle, and a string steering wheel near the shoulder for turning. Take care with the knife and hammer. Source: Sirindhorn Anthropology Centre, Traditional Objects of Everyday Use database, "ล้อ", author not named (CC BY 4.0 licence). **Limits** The source gives the wheel as "1-3 inches long" without saying whether that is the thickness or the diameter, and gives no axle size.
