Paem Pha (Shan Tumpline Basket) — Bamboo-Skin Strips Woven Close all over, Round Mouth, Square Base, a Rolled-Strip Rim, One Loop in Front and Two Behind for a Forehead Strap

แปมพะ (paem pha) is a woven bamboo basket in which Shan (Tai Yai) men carry food and gear to the fields or into the forest. It has a round mouth and a square tapered base, and is carried by a braided strap over the head, suited to hilly and mountainous land. This blueprint weaves a real paem pha by the method in the source.
