Slotted Machine Screws Turned from Round Bar

Small machine screws with a slotted cheese head are turned from round bar: the head is the bar's own diameter, the shank is turned down and threaded, and a slot is sawn across the head. The example is M4 to ISO 1207: head 7 mm across and 2.6 mm high, slot 1.2 mm wide and at least 1.1 mm deep.
